What is TCPA Litigator Check?
TCPA Litigator is a designation or flag that indicates whether a specific phone number has been involved in litigation related to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). The TCPA is a federal law in the United States that restricts telemarketing calls, text messages, and fax transmissions. It provides certain protections to consumers and establishes rules that businesses must follow when conducting telephone marketing.
The TCPA Litigator flag is used to identify phone numbers that have been part of TCPA litigation cases from the year 2000 up to the present day. When a phone number is marked as a TCPA Litigator, it means that it has been associated with a lawsuit or legal action related to TCPA compliance.T
YES = Involved in TCPA Litigation.
NO = Not involved in TCPA Litigation.
NOTE: The TCPA Litigator list is updated Monday - Friday throughout the course of the year.
