What information is required for the SSN Add-on?

What information is required for the SSN Verification Add-on?

SSN Verification Add-On applications are handled on a case-by-case basis. We require the following information to verify your business and business purpose. Only valid businesses with a valid purpose can obtain access to the SSN Verification Add-on.

Supporting Documentation Requirements:
Option 1:  Business License and ONE of the following items
OR
Option 2:  If no business license, TWO of the following items

- Articles of Incorporation or similar
- IRS SS-4 form showing your Tax ID
- Proof of 501(c)(3) status (non-profit, charity, religious or educational)
- Corporation verification with State or Federal government
- Current Business Phone Bill (address must match public listings)
- Current Business Bank Statement (address must match public listings)
- Business Bank Check (voided)

The following may also be required for further verification:
- A picture of yourself holding up your photo ID

After we receive and review this information, we should be able to upgrade your account to include the SSN Verification Add-on. If you are unable to provide documentation, your standard Searchbug account will remain active.

NOTE: We reserve the right to refuse access to SSN tools if we are unable to authenticate your business, documents, or identity.
