VFAQ: Reassigned Numbers Database (RND) API

The Reassigned Numbers Database API (api_rnd) allows businesses, including telemarketers, to check if a phone number they have consent to contact has been disconnected and/or reassigned to a new user. It helps telemarketers ensure they are reaching the correct person and reducing the risk of non-compliance and potential legal penalties.

The FCC offers a 'safe harbor' that protects businesses from TCPA liability when a phone number is not flagged as disconnected during the query and later reported to be reassigned. This means fewer headaches, fewer fines, and a more secure way to run your campaigns.
