What are Searchbug People Search APIs | FAQs

Does all your People Search APIs the same?

Searchbug has three different People Search APIs:

1. Advanced Person Search API - this API is designed for straightforward identity verification processes. The results gathered from this API often include a full name and "aka" aliases, both current and previous addresses, all known phone numbers and their types (wireless or landline), date of birth, date of death if deceased, relative names, and DOB.

One key feature is that it does not allow searches by Social Security Number (SSN) and does not reveal any SSN information.

2. Enhanced People Search API - this API takes verification a step further by including the ability to search for or by SSN.  This will help you verify the SSN owner and find contact information and background details for people in the US. This API returns names, aliases, current and previous addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, date of birth, date of death if deceased, relative names and DOB, SSN, SSN issue date, and state.

Please note that his API requires users to have the Restricted Access Add-On.

3. People Trace API - this is the best API you can use for tracking down hard-to-locate individuals. This is beneficial for businesses in Law enforcement, Debt Collection, Legal Services, Insurance, etc. Results from this API typically include Names, Aliases (aka), Death Records Search, Current Address, Previous Addresses, and phone numbers associated with the SSN when available.

Like Enhanced People Search API, this also requires users to have the Restricted Access Add-On.
