How to Use Searchbug APIs: Real-Time Data Verification and Contact Information Integration

API Edition

APIs (or Application Program Interface) allow you to integrate our search tools directly into your website, program, or mobile application. APIs can be used to locate and verify data and to find contact information in real time.

To use an API, you will need a Searchbug account with a prepaid plan. The pricing is based on the monthly cumulative volume of either a Query or a Hit, depending upon which API you're using. After you've loaded your account with a prepaid balance, we slowly chip away at that balance with each API query. When the balance runs low, your prepaid balance is automatically reloaded in order to avoid service interruption.

We offer two account add-ons: SSN Verification Add-on, which allows you to access the SSN and Name Match API, and Restricted Access Add-on, which allows access to federally regulated data. You can read about all of the different Searchbug APIs here.
